About LM4W

OUR HISTORY

Established in May of 1970, Line Mountain 4-Wheelers is a non-profit organization of approximately 500 members who organizes, promotes, and participates in off-road racing events each year.  The off-road racing events take place in the Appalachian Mountains of Dornsife, Pennsylvania.  The first event was held in 1971 when approximately 23 vehicles and a few motorcycles entered the race on a 7 mile course through the woods.  Gaining in popularity through the years, more and more competitors entered the race and more events were held annually.  Today there are three annual events which include the 3½ Miler in June, the Coal Bucket Race in July, and the renowned 7 Miler in September.  Recently a points system was introduced where a competitor earns points for each of the three races with a monetary payout to the top 20 competitors.  Competitors can expect to compete against 120 to 150 other competitors.  Classes include 4x4s, buggies, ATVs, motorcycles, and UTVs.
